Nomination Rules

  1. Only presiding bishops, diocesan bishops, or district elders are eligible to nominate a church for this award.

  2. Nominee church and nominator both agree that materials provided to the Pastor & Leadership Summit, LLC (PLS) may be edited, reproduced or published in a program, on PLS website, or in press release form prior to or after the Pastor and Church Leadership Summit Event.

  3. Nominations may be delivered to PLS via email, regular mail, or fax and are limited to three (3) typewritten pages.

  4. All property submitted will be retained by PLS. It is preferable for photographs to be submitted in a digital format. Please do not submit one-of-a-kind photographs unless they do not need to be returned to you.

  5. Awards will be presented to winners this March at the Pastor and Church Leadership Summit’s annual awards event. For event details, visit PLS’s website at www.leadership-summit.org/home.html or contact the PLS office at 410-947-7427.

  6. Emailed nominations shall be sent to rcwharton@gmail.com with the word “Nominee:” in the Subject Header, followed by the nominee’s name and all questions and information requests on the original form must be provided.

  7. Nominations shall include nominee AND nominator contact info (see form).

Checklist:

    Nominations in any form are limited to three (3) typewritten pages.

    Nominations shall include a headshot digital photo of the nominee.

      Important Note:

  • Emailed nominations shall include a 300+ dot per inch digital photo.

  • Mailed responses shall include a photo that shall become the property of PLS and therefore, will not to be returned.

  • Emailed nominations shall be sent to rcwharton@gmail.com  with the words “ Church of Distinction Award Nominee:” in the Subject Header, followed by the nominee’s name.

  • Emailed responses shall address all questions and information requests on the original form.

    Nominations shall include nominee AND nominator contact info (see form).
